Michael Hurwitz, a graphic artist and designer with a varied past. He spent the last 25 years of his life as an internationally patented Inventor and Designer of Award Winning Environmental Packaging Systems used by Fortune 50 companies. He holds the prestigious Worldstar and Ameristar Packaging Design Awards for medical packaging designs. In 1994 his invention, "GEAMI" was a Finalist in Walt Disney World Company's "Discover Awards For Technological Innovation.
As an Entrepreneur, he established, owned and operated five companies. Those companies are C.M. Jackson Company (a packaging solutions business), GEOPAX, Ltd. (now named Ge�mi, Ltd), Mother J Productions, Inc (a 501C3 Not-for-Profit company raising scholarships for children in the arts), Infinity Solutions, LLC. (a packaging, marketing and design company), YOGA1 (a studio) and Integrated Solutions P&M, LLC (a packaging solutions company) and now DiMi, LLC. (a graphic design and marketing company).
Throughout the years, he has focused his attention on his Dramatic Arts career. Mr. Hurwitz holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in General Dramatic Arts and Writing from the University of Connecticut at Storrs. He performed and directed many productions, has taught numerous acting workshops and classes and he has been the creator of Acting companies in Connecticut. He is a professional Speaker for business events in Canada and the United States, as well as an auctioneer for Arts related organizations.
Michael is a published poet and writer. He is presently working on "Poppy Barker", a comedy with a foot.
He has been performing and teaching Improvisational Comedy and Drama for over 30 years and does voice-over work. He lives with Stacy, his wife and they reside in Mount Dora, Florida within walking distance to their quaint town and a backyard filled with lush vegetation. He and Stacy share their life with Sasha and Pudge, two amazing cats.
